In legal terms, what we are going through is a “force majeure” - an occurrence beyond the control of either party in a contract. Businesses aren’t at risk of failure because of bad investments, embezzlement or corruption, but because the 21st Century Bubonic Plague hit.

“You’re incorporated? Fuck you, I hate corporations; you deserve everything that happens to you” is not what we should be doing - and it is most definitely not what Sanders should be advocating.

We need tight controls over bailout funds to ensure none of the money goes to stock buybacks and executive bonuses...but helping companies get back on their feet is the right thing to do.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
