(96,043 posts)Party leaders should proceed as if 'Bernie' already had conceded, and begin public endorsements and raising and disbursing of funds. It might be necessary to change some Party rules to do this, but those are internal matters that could be changed at will. There really is no need to maintain Sanders' pretensions in countenance. He is not really a candidate for the Party's nomination, Mr. Biden has won the line, and is the only Democrat remaining of the field.
