Honestly, it about makes me weep, waking up each morning to the disregard and disrespect a mature white man faces in this country. It's just awful. Why, I think I'd give a million bucks to be a black woman. They get all the breaks!

Please just realize what you sound like. It is ridiculous. The man gave his word he would choose a woman. That doesn't mean anyone who thinks he should keep his word thinks Sarah Palin is better than Mr. Roosevelt or Mr. Lincoln, and suggesting anyone thinks it does only makes you look like an idiot at best and at worst like some 'men's rights' type whose mask is slipping. Your position contains the unspoken premise that there's sure to be some white man out there who is better for the job than any woman, and Mr. Biden better find him before he saddles the ticket with somebody who lacks a penis, just for some silly thing like being a man who delivers on a pledge.
