Assuming a non-genocidal intent, there is likely strong intelligence that led IDF to bomb this particular structure. Of course, if you presume a genocidal intent, the article gives one all sorts of reasons to lean into that bias because Democracy Now has the least inquisitive reporters regarding what else might be going on inside a terrorist territory where the terrorists control the messaging.

The official toll does not distinguish between innocents/collateral vs enemy combatants vs those killed by Hamas for fleeing vs those killed by Hamas’ and Islamic Jihads faulty missiles aimed at Israel.
