7. Ok, makes sense and I agree that our war mongering is a civilian decision however ...

the public's view that not supporting war (Vietnam, Iraq, Afghan) is unpatriotic perpetuates them.

I definately "support the troops" and the VA system but not because I consider active duty military and veterans "heroes" but because they rather "victims" and deserve lifetime support because of it. They exploit young people as early as HS and it is wrong. Of course, I guess we have to have someone to fight these dumbass wars. If they had to use 30+ people to fight their wars there would be a lot more pushback or more than likely mercenary armies.

There are no "winners" in war...

The war will end.
The leaders will shake hands.
The old woman will keep waiting for her martyred son.
That girl will wait for her beloved husband.
And those children will wait for their heroic father.
I don't know who sold our homeland.
But I saw who paid the price.
