12. The trump trials are a circus, a distraction and evidence of our failed system.

Of course, Trump is guilty. Trump's guilt is a career advancement for 1000s of "professionals". Rinse and repeat. Hard not to be cynical.

The failure isn't the Constitution but that our politics, laws, and courts are corrupt and for open sale. Add churches and the military.

Hard to keep faith or stability when drowned in an ocean of cognitive dissonance and lies.

I am old and sick and bugged that my curiosity about the outcomes will not be satisfied before croak. Had a discussion recently with a close friend of over 50 years. We are both in 70s, have chronic health problems, and each several times recovered from hospital trips or procedures that keep us alive. Jim told me to relax, nothing we could do but vote, and would not be around to see the outcome because we will be dead. Been mostly there since went through first round of chemo in 2018.
