(56,972 posts)24. My US-based daughter had something similar happen to her within the last couple of years.
She didn't want a big deal made of it, it was traumatic enough. But it did happen. She did manage to get it addressed before she was in any mortal danger herself. Fortunately, she does not live in one of "those" states.

I lost two advanced pregnancies...one was due to food poisoning...I was less than a month from birth...
