3. And who is responsible for this Ukrainian soldier's suffering?

To answer my own question, that would be Putin, he can withdraw his forces anytime and end this war, but no, his ego won't allow it unless it's on his terms, which are unacceptable to Ukraine and most of the world.

The vast majority of the world's governments and citizens wish this war would end also, but not on Putin's terms, we've seen the results of tyranny and its rejected.
