Over 90% of paying customers at a golf tournament are not "country club types".
They're just people with everyday jobs like those that go to football, baseball or basketball games.
It's actually cheaper to go to a golf tournament than other sporting events. Thursday & Friday tickets for The Toyr Championship are only 30 bucks.
In fact, 93% of all rounds of recreational golf are played on public & municipal golf courses.
It's people who don't play golf that think it's a rich people's sport.
Of the other 8 to 10 guys in our golf crowd, I'm the only one who ever worked in management.
Sweeping generalizations seldom work out as planned.
