People devalue things that are free, and seem to think that a big price tag makes something more valuable.

I think of free and open source software, which created the internet, and some giant companies, Wikipedia, cheap things like my thrift store finds, (Hawaiian shirts made of silk), generics, and so on.

And you know the converse, certain golf resorts among them.

I just checked. Tanglewood concerts cost $15, include lots of lawn and scenery, and great music. Plus, you get to sit there, rather than dodge golf balls and flying ketchup bottles.
