...and, in the end, Trump did what he so often does: he stiffed the people he owed money.

I catch hell in some quarters for saying this, but what he said about John McCain convinced me Trump was a grade-A piece of shit. You could disagree with his politics (I know I did), but to belittle a man who was tortured, held captive in terrible conditions, bur decided to not be used by the Viet Cong by taking advantage of his standing as the son of a Navy bigwig to come home. Trump would have committed treason to get back home.
