53. Two thoughts

First, it's cable TV not broadcast. The rules are laxer. Nicole is an adult as is her audience so they know the words. Her producers probably let her say it at the beginning but later told her to clean it up. By using the words at the top, she brought home the intensity and viciousness of Trump's attitude but then recognized that point had been made so it was unnecessary to keep repeating it.

Second, it's a quote from the Republican candidate for president of all Americans. Trump's language illustrates clearly what he thinks of Mexicans so it is not just news-worthy, it's essential to hear how the candidate really thinks. Trump has been denigrating Mexicans since he came down his fake-gold escalator so I'm still scratching my head that any minority would support this racist clown.

Of course, Trump's racism and misogyny have always been obvious to all of us here on the Left. What has puzzled me these past nine years is that so many people still don't truly see Trump for who he is. They're still being conned. It's either baffling or our country is 25-35% stupid racist trash.
