we're quietly doing the right thing and voting against fascism.

I'm a member of our American Legion Post, and your characterization of other AL members is broadbrushed, and wrong.

Most of us remember (and still defend) our oath to protect against "all enemies, foreign, AND domestic" (emphasis mine).
