know others in the business outside of their own newspaper and communicate with them?
It just seems strange to me that the NYT has been favorable in coverage of Trump and critical of Harris, then endorsed Harris.
I don't have a NYT subscription so the only time I read a NYT article is when one is posted on DU. But, the NYT has a 30 minute radio program called "The Daily" that the Buffalo NPR station carries every weekday. In general, it has been unfavorable toward Harris and leaning toward Trump in its coverage of the campaign and the polls.
