As we have endured a long, nightmarish PTSD, they have been giddy with jubilation and elation at the hate and craziness this monster unleashes on this country. The experience and emotional contrast cannot be any starker.

His passing will not heal me. I do not know how I can forgive people who hated me and my friends so much that they flew the flags, wore the caps, and proudly placed huge signs in their yards. These people would be perfectly fine with our incarceration, execution, or any "retribution." They cheered this beast, fed on the red meat and bloodlust, and celebrated him as a messiah.

Nope. They are permanently LOWLIFES to my heart and in my mind. Knowing how much they hate people like us, I don't think I'll ever get over it. I hope there are better, more forgiving people than I because I and the country will need their help.
