I am a very loving father and they know I will give them my all for everything but in stressing about how to prepare them to live in a Trump world and how to not lose sight of what is important and to be true to themselves I have at times not been able to deal with the toll of that.

They do understand and we talk about it a d everything but it just shouldn’t have had to be like this. There is just SOOOO much hate and ugliness that I didn’t know existed and was sooo naive to.

But you are right in that it is a moment to teach and so that they do not grow up with that naivite. The trick will be to not let them become jaded to the good ess of most people.
