27. I have felt that way since 2000.

I became pretty bitter - not just at the SCOTUS working for their own self interest, but at my friends who saw no harm in voting for Nader (remember the jerks who traded votes like they were Halloween candy?), and at the way the media and some fellow Democrats let Al Gore down. Al Gore was a stellar candidate but all we heard was "fuzzy math" "lock box" "invented the Internet" and so an, ad nauseum, ad infinitum. "Al Gore ran a bad campaign". "Al Gore isn't exciting".

There is a long line of people who owe Al Gore and the rest of us an apology. 2016 wouldn't have happened without 2000.
