I'll bet they didn't pay for a demographics report from anyone.

Generally you canvass your known likely voters plus known independents. They are probably dropping off a few random canvassers from out of state here and there where they "think" it will help. This is when strong local party supporters help you but their locals are glued to faux or attending a rally in another state. Haha.
