In reply to the discussion: I want my life back [View all]BigmanPigman
(52,379 posts)100. I used to swear a lot all my life
but since 2016 I'd estimate that my use of profanity has increased about 75%. I have to make sure my very loud rants don't bother my neighbors and often close my windows until my rant is finished. My rants are a lot worse, too. The other night I was thinking about it and I have decided that swearing has been very good for me, it releases stress very well in the short term. What I really need is a Xanax the size of a football every, single day. I doubt my primary care doctor would do it but maybe when he sees my weight loss he'll feel sorry for me prescribe some.

It's sad how many trillions of collective hours have been wasted worrying about this idiot.

Amen. I feel the same way. I'm retired, and the best years of my retirement have been stolen . . .
