15. The media didn't pull the levers in the voting booth. People did.

There was a ton (and I mean a ton) of coverage about his trials and convictions, his horrible campaign, the Madison Square Garden debacle and much much more. He wasn't normalized. The problem was the voters. Why the hell after all this coverage did they pull the levers the wrong way? It certainly wasn't because they didn't know. It's because, bluntly, the legitimate media isn't Fox. They don't lie and make up crap (like voting for Kamala was cheating on your husband). They stick with facts.

The legitimate media works hard at being impartial. Yeah, there are some things to nitpick. Like bad headlines (FYI, writers don't generally write headlines ... copy editors do).

But the likely fault of today's tragedy is we still live in a nation of stupids. And stupid is who Fox talks to. And the stupids listened.

I just hope I survive this debacle (I'm 72).
