Nothing would have changed this outcome! It's not Kamala's fault. It's not Joe's fault. It's not Tim's fault. [View all]

As democrats, we default to see the good in people. It's our nature. We thought, this time, people will do better. Reality check. They were never going to be better or do better for any other Democratic candidate.

Looking at all the people that we think are the future of the party, none of them would have fared differently.
Gretchen Whitmer? A woman. A mouthy woman
Secretary Pete? A gay man - you know the rest
Josh Shapiro? He's a jew - if you think the GOP would not have rolled in anti semitic garbage, think again.
Gavin Newsom? California Liberal - look at all the crime and lawlessness in CA
Wes Moore? A black man. Nuff said

The media gave the GOP a huge assist by wounding Joe Biden.

This was always going to be our fate.

There were several factors. Too much to overcome in 3 months. America is not exceptional.
We are fond of saying, This is not us. It is us. From the racists, misogynists to the people who will say they are voting on the economy, but don't mind women dying if it means they can get 99 cent eggs. Which they won't. It is us.

True. But Trump 1.0 was backlash against both a black President and the first woman candidate for President. hlthe2b Nov 6 #20
