Warren Buffet pointed out that if every wealthy corporation paid their share of taxes, nobody else would have to pay a dime in taxes. And we could afford to give everyone universal health care, affordable loans for college, etc.
By voting for Trump and giving Congress to the Republicans, these people just guaranteed that prices will rise higher and wages will decrease. More money will be shoveled at the ultra-rich. Everything they're unhappy about will get worse.

People don't understand that the student loan forgiveness was mostly for penalties and interest.

I hate the idea of Walmart, too. But frankly, here in Southern Florida, they have nice supermarkets
