Whoever is behind Vance (Thiel?) is the new Cheney. I do question whether Vance is stupid. You don't grow up in that part of the country and be a first generation college student that goes on to get an Ivy League law degree and be stupid.

Vance did what he needed to do to get on the ticket with Trump. He strikes me as more of an opportunist. I do wonder how far he will push his Christian fascism given who his wife is.
