There is no excuse or being ignorant of or ignoring the massive ongoing voter suppression efforts by the Republicans. That has been enabled by smearing the people who bring this to our attention and call for action by labeling them "conspiracy theorists."

Millions of voters were purged from the rolls, overwhelmingly in African American districts. Unknown numbers of ballots are declared invalid and tossed, again overwhelmingly in African American districts. Absurdly long lines in those districts is another form of voter suppression. Republicans do not even bother to make what they are doing a secret!

Over 40% of the population in Mississippi is AA, yet the most extreme racist right wing politicians consistently get elected there. That is not an anomaly, it represents a pattern that holds across the nation. But we are to believe that Republicans are not stealing elections?
