57. Agreed that it's not easy to teach civilians

It is a fast way to create some confidence in life or death situations. That's why versions of it are were used by militaries.

But a heavy bag and a friend to practice grappling with would also help a kid.

They need to know what a physical confrontation feels like.

After that there are better ways to learn self defence.
