I made a comment about this type of thing yesterday. It's how the media glorifies and coddles the uneducated, rural white males and to a lesser extent the females. The political world revolves around this demographic and the question is never asked, "Why aren't the Republicans reaching the educated urban voters?". Personally, I thought Kamala WAS trying to reach this demographic. At least it seemed she tried. She spent a lot of time in those red rural counties.

Because of geography and the electoral college, that demographic holds disproportionate power. It's really a tragedy and a sham. (This is the subject of that book "Rural White Rage" by Schaller and Waldman).
