skeptical about this book. I read this book way back in 2008 when I was 25 years old. I thought back then we were in the fourth turning. I remember even the author of the book back then said the fourth turning had started around that time. I just view this book as pseudo-science now.

I do agree with you we are in a Great Depression like era similar to what we were in about 100 years ago. The biggest issue right now is we don't have a FDR figure to save us. I don't see a Democrat that is a true progressive on economic issues like FDR out there right now that will come out of nowhere and take command of this situation in 2028. I hope I'm wrong and someone will emerge but I'm skeptical.
