the 4th turning. I also meant to say we are in a similar environment that led up to the great depression in the 1920's.

I bought into the 4th turning concept in '08 and heard plenty of interviews back then from Neil Howe about how the '08 Financial crisis was the start of it. I remember also hearing back then about how the Millennials were the Hero generation that was supposed to save the country and rebuild it during the 4th turning. I can say that has not happened yet maybe I will be wrong, and my generation will save the day but color me skeptical.

Now it seems like Howe according to you has changed the start date of the 4th Turning to this current crisis. I guess my questions is why wasn't the '08 Financial crisis the 4th turning like Howe said it was in '08 and now this current crisis is the start of the 4th turning?
