People who dismiss this upon reading only a brief summary, such as what I've posted here, completely miss the point.

Another extremely important point of the book is that how an individual is affected by what happens is completely dependent on which generation, which kind of generation they belong to: Prophet, Nomad, Hero, or Artist.
