The seasons they refer to would also be impacted by what type of yuga age they occurred in. The yugas also have a high, middle and low point (deterioration) before moving from one to the next. The cycles are fractal in that they repeat but are different, as in history doesn't repeat but it rhymes. That brings to mind another book I have not read but has rave reviews, The Fractal Universe. You might enjoy that (and, me, too!).

I can see where where this topic doesn't resonate with everyone because it's very metaphysical.
