Vivek Ramaswamy was being floated around. He called for the invasion of Mexico in a GOP debate and wants to ally with Russia, somehow, against China, again, somehow.
Rubio at least understands who our allies are and who our enemies are. He'll still implement Trump's agenda, that's the job after all, but he won't be in the one in the room advocating for abandoning NATO.
The reality is probably that he gets fired from the administration with enough time to run for the seat he's giving up in FL.
