Was there ever a bill he brought to the Senate floor that he brought because because it was the right time for the bill whether or not it had a chance to pass? Even if Ds didn't have enough R votes to push a bill through, IMO, our D representatives should have pushed the bill as far as they could to secure a vote. In that way, on the campaign trail, the Ds could say we tried to help the American people, and that it was the R's who failed.

I remember seeing AOC on a news show shortly after she was elected complaining that the Ds wouldn't bring bills to the floor unless they were sure there were the votes -- and it made her mad for the reasons above.
