Devalue the dollar, and there's your savings. Then you have to sell your equities and properties. But at pennies to the dollar because you need the money and private Equity can wait you out.

Welcome feudalism 2.0. Corporations on all the property and charge 50% of an average salary for a place to stay. 45% of your salary spent on necessities. And if you're lucky, you'll maybe have 5% discretionary income.
