72. I argued with Keith Olbermann about Comcast

Years ago, he was posting on Daily Kos. When Comcast took over, I predicted MSNBC would take a turn to the right, and his job would be in peril.

I was excited when he personally replied to my post; I watched his show religiously. He replied to me that (because Countdown was MSNBC's #1 show at the time) his job wasn't in jeopardy, because Comcast was in it for the money.

I told him that, no, these RW companies were out to control the narrative, even if they had to lose money in the process.

I was right. I, a high-school educated small-town woman, predicted something big that this Cornell-educated newsman didn't.

But I take no pleasure in my triumph in that argument. God, how I wish I had been wrong.
