Trump said

"When I went around, I heard something that was very interesting: the word ‘grocery.’ It’s sort of such a strange and simple, nice word, you know, ‘I’m going out for groceries today.’"

In other words, this 78 year old man had no idea what the word grocery meant. How ignorant and stupid do you have to be to have lived almost 80 years and not know what the word grocery means? Not only that, but as with any time he just learns something that most 5 year olds already know, he assumes that it is some super special knowledge that hardly anyone else knows - hence the need to explain it to his audience because he thinks they are as ignorant as he is and have no idea what the word means either.
