(3,080 posts)were started and are mostly written by Bushite neocons (Bulwark by Bill Kristol of the old Weekly Standard magazine; and Dispatch by former National Review writers Jonah Goldberg, son of Lucianne Goldberg, and Kevin Williamson, plus Stephen Hayes, who was a reliable pro-war commentator on Fox News during the Bush and Obama years.
These people can change their party designations, proudly proclaim that they voted for Biden and Harris, but they haven't changed their core beliefs. They are still neo-cons, pro-war hawks who believe America should maintain its globally interventionist position, more and more defence spending, and, frankly, placing the interests of Israel ahead of virtually all other considerations other than tax cuts. The only thing we and they agree on is hatred of TFG.
Unless the Democratic Party has decided to transform itself into the neo-con party, we gain little by hooking up our wagons to theirs and the Cheneys. I, myself, want nothing to do with them.
