Hunter was not in danger of going to prison and potential felony charges were reduced to misdemeanors. Hunter also admitted he was guilty and his buddy paid off his taxes and penalties. Admitting guilt often avoids jail time. Wesley Snipes would not admit guilt and was sent to prison for back taxes.
