4. He's as full of shit as a Christmas turkey

I'm from Jackson County NC---same as this guy. FEMA has been here since the beginning of the disaster. They're still here to help people who need it.

First, we had to get everyone to safety, then we had to get our infrastructure back up and going. Then we had to rush to get everyone into safe housing. Now it's time to clean up the debris fields. We have roads and bridges that still need to be repaired, and this guy is an idiot if he thinks it's going to happen over night.

Ironically the Republican majority state house & senate have dragged their feet passing a bill to help rebuild the area. They finally passed a bill but it was mostly aimed at restricting voting in the future and only half of the money that the Democratic governor requested.

Our biggest problem in the area is the loss of tourism. The "news cycle" told people not to come. Heck---people like him got on facebook and told people not to come. A major interstate highway is closed. This young guy needs to tighten his belt and get ready for several years of bad tourism in the area. Tourists don't come if it's raining, they're certainly not going to come if they have to take a detour to get here.
