Something isn't right. I'm getting the feeling that some people previously worth of our admiration are shifting into the "go along to get along" mode. Okay, historically that certainly happens under authoritarians and dictators.
I'm not even quite able to articulate my level of agitation--I'm not panicking yet, but I'm watching everything extremely closely and not liking a lot of what I'm seeing.
If what some of us think is unfolding actually IS unfolding, my next question is where do they think their next tranche of financial support will come from? Or are the voters no longer that important now that corporations basically finance elections?

Republicans have certainly changed. Not long ago they objected to their President being a crook and abusing his power.
