14. When I think about our party today, the question I come back to is "Who is our leader?"

It has clearly been Biden for the past four years, but he is not the future. Neither are the Clintons or Obamas. Harris has virtually disappeared, and I can understand a retreat for a bit, but is she coming back? We have some excellent state governors, but no one of them is our leader. Who is out there on the news shows, on social media, writing opinions saying that we heard voters’ concerns about inflation, on migrants, on workers’ rights?

Our party could have a lot to say right now about healthcare, the historically low inflation and unemployment rates, the manufacturing jobs created with details about where, how the investments of the last four years are paying off. If Democrats fail to get any messages out, Trump and Republicans will simply take credit for everything this administration accomplished.

The silence is deafening. And I still do not know who our leader is. I believe it should be Harris, but she needs to get busy soon or she will become a footnote in history..
