11. If he was found dead in SE D. C., where he had a job,

his death might not have been at his own hand, either. I lived in SE D.C. from 1957-1968, during which time my neighborhood turned from all-white to nearly all black. In 1968, when we moved out to Prince George's County, I was the last white kid in the neighborhood. I check in on the old neighborhood occasionally (virtually, not actually) and the last time I Googled my old street address, earlier this summer, I discovered a picture of the old house with a boarded up front door and an official-looking keep out warning sign. The house itself is not rundown, but the neighborhood is a mess. I've found record of two murders on the block I lived on in the last few years, and it had to be black-on-black crime. SE D.C. has been a sad mess for decades now, especially Ward 8 where my old house is. This IS sad, and I hope we have a better understanding of his demise soon.
