In reply to the discussion: Trump Says That if He Loses, 'the Jewish People Would Have a Lot to Do' With It [View all]Shoonra
(568 posts)Trump's claim to have done something for American Jews is primarily based on his moving the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, committing the US govt to recognizing Jerusalem as the permanent capital of Israel - something Jews did, a lot of Americans did, but the UN refused to do. It was touching but to suppose that this shackles American Jews to him suggests the canard that American Jews are more loyal to Israel than to America, or, at least, that a favor done for Israel counts for more than what he had done in America as far as Jewish voters care.
The next thing about his threat to blame Jews if he loses the election is that all his Gentile supporters will have a recognizable minority group to punish for his defeat. This includes the Trump supporters who are were carrying tiki torches and swastika flags in Charlottesville, and others of that ilk. This may mean violence against American Jews and Jewish institutions.
