If you give them some kind of State ID, they actually scan the barcode on the back of the ID and pull up your registration information. On one occasion, the lady that was doing the check-in seemed to be taking quite her time carefully examining my GA driver's license. She was about 3 seconds away from me loudly saying: "Ma'am, is there a problem?" before she finally let me pass.
But say you get some fake IDs. Because you didn't register, you won't be on the rolls. Even if you contest you are a resident of Georgia, at some address, at most you will be given a provisional ballot, which won't count if they cannot verify you address within 3 days of the election.
I think I remember for early voting in 2020, we had to fill out a form before we could even get to the check-in. It basically stated that you were voting for a certain election period, and that you were made aware you cannot vote again on Election Day, and some other stuff and then had to be signed. The form had to be filled out and dated correctly, even specifying the date be written as mm/dd/yyyy (all four digits for the year). They kicked the form back to you if you didn't do it correctly.
It's practically impossible, although that shouldn't even have to be said
