(7,556 posts)These days, I have created and am running what is known as a 'tabletop game' and back in the day was known as a 'role-playing game'. It is like Dungeons and Dragons, but my game is not a medieval fantasy setting. I will put the flyer below.

I have been running the game for almost four years now on a website called 'Roll20'. The group are friends of mine that I have known and gamed with for over forty years (in most cases).
I have been creating everything for it. Stories, maps, texts, etc. It has been a lot of fun. I like doing this kind of thing. I am hoping to expand it some and then attempt to get it published. There are many hurdles to this, as I am a sponge when it comes to creating content for a game and will grab any image or text I need to create my illusion. This means that, if I want to copyright the game for myself, I will have to remove about 90% of the images I use for reference as they don't belong to me. This is not a dealbreaker, it just creates a lot of work before I can shop it around.
I started playing D&D when I was 16. I started with the basic set ('the red box') and then dove into Advanced Dungeons and Dragons 1st edition and never looked back.
