so, this actually could be a helpful exercise for everyone interested, andy. if i email you the PSD of the noisiest bird image of the two and you run it thru the de-noise magic, then you can covert both to high res JPGs and upload them so we can compare before and after at the highest image quality (i am not worried about these particular images....they were test snaps....if we want to use them to show how we can straighten out noisy images then they would have actual value).

what do you think?
