6. I'm thankful to say the rains did NOT roll in

last night. The Universe saw fit to give me a break. For those who asked, I DO have an autoimmune disease... I have fibromyalgia. I also, depending on my inflammation numbers, stay within the edges of SLE Lupus. I'm on meds for both, but during the days when the rains come, nothing seems to help. I'd been doing everything I could, both medicinally and on my own with foods and supplements, to get my inflammation down, but for some reason this weather front defeated everything I tried. I have no idea why. It's not like it was a gully washer or anything! Those have me trying to keep the rain from coming in the backdoor! (LOL)

I do a lot of cooking, my husband recently discovered, that involves anti-inflammatory spices. He just thought it tasted really good!

The salve I tried was 1:1 pot and cbd and I, personally, declare it a miracle drug... even if it couldn't stand up to the fibro pain I was feeling last week. That's why I'm so incensed that what someone can buy legally in a wonderfully helpful environment for their pain is denied to someone 5 miles from me who is suffering. That is so not fair! God help Kansas. I've said it more than once. On their license plates it should read, "If someone is smiling, they're obviously doing something illegal."

If only SS and my pittance of an annuity was enough, I'd walk out of this house, shut the door, and move to a blue state in a heartbeat. I have no doubt, holistically, my medical care would be better... and it'd be nice to be surrounded by like-minds.

So, for now, the pain is down to the level the salve has taken that away and I'm actually thinking of getting up and cleaning the kitchen. More rain isn't forecast until later next week, so I'll just go slow and hang on 'til then and see what happens.

For now... may you have sunny skies above you, and hopefully you have a hint of warm spring breezes. I know I'm sure looking forward to them, even with the pollen they carry. Right now, I'm going to go check on the progress of the growth of my daisies in the front yard!

Thank you for being here last night. I truly didn't know how I was going to get thru it one more night...
