5. I don't even have that energy

I had the wind taken out of my sails in 2016, but I remember thinking whoever came out on top in the 2016 election would lose in 2020.

People in this country have abandoned all rationality, all logic, and what for who? For what? That? After all the damage that’s been done, so even more damage can be done for even more generations and decades to come?
