13. Generators, etc.

They not only survived, but my frozen foods stayed frozen! The ice, too! It's a new refrigerator and the seals close quite tight plus I made it a point to open infrequently.

I'd like to have a generator. The RG had one installed at another house but it cost $20k. Ay yi yi. Everyone around here has one and they all kicked on during this transformer blowout. The transformer that blew was only 10' from my house and my house is a woodframe. I just feel lucky that it didn't set the place on fire.

It is such a relief to have the cool air and the dehumidifier, although the RG bought me 3 rechargeable fans and I already had 2, so that helped a lot. All were charged up.

Hey, I still have the Bear Mountain Bridge wallpaper I put on my computer after you two went up there recently. The place brings back fond memories. It must have been magical floating around there that night.

Did you get to listen to the music Night City Lights?
