In reply to the discussion: MY CAT CAME HOME TONIGHT [View all]intheflow
(28,941 posts)53. Sometimes cats lead very complex social lives.
Theres a good book called Lost Cat: a true story of love, desperation, and GPS technology, by Caroline Paul. The authors cat kept going missing for long periods of time, turns out he was out living in several different homes and even in a feral cat colony! For creatures who seem to largely disdain the world around them, cats are super social.
Im so glad your kitty returned! There are few things more heartbreaking than when a pet goes missing. I love happy endings!

Cool... I know the feeling. My rascals when they sneak out at night are typically back in the morn.
