My old kitty passed away last night [View all]

She had gotten sick at Christmas, and while she got better, she was not as good as she had been. On Sunday, she started a rapid decline, and I knew she wasn't going to pull out of it this time. She was about 20 years old. She was always a good cat, not affectionate, but very sociable and got along with any pets who came to the house. She was a lot of fun. She loved boxes, baskets, punch bowls, bags. It really was 'if she fit, she'd sit.' We took some great shots of Kitty in the _____. She is the last of that generation of kitties. They all lived long lives. I'm taking a break from having pets for the first time in 20 some years. All of our pets have come to us as strays, and I'll rely on chance again. In the meantime, I'll adjust to a pet free home, and take the time I need to get used to a daily routine with big holes in it. Thanks for reading.
